A symposium discussing the recently gazetted competition law heard that the application of the law could encounter bottlenecks due to some interpretations, including uncertainty over which agencies will play which roles and the low awareness of policymakers about the competition law. The engagement was held in Kampala and brought together judges, heads of government agencies, and departments.
