The Electoral Commission launched a move to educate and involve persons with disabilities, on their rights to participate in the electoral process, as a way of promoting civic education on elections. The Commission argues that the PWD population are missing out on opportunities to to make electoral choices of their own. All this comes on the back of concerns by persons with disabilities about how they are used during electoral process but later abandoned.
