The private sector has asked the government to help migrants in Uganda by promoting their businesses for the country’s holistic economic growth and development. In response, the government has promised to create more employment opportunities for them.Government has also promised to put checks and balances on illegal migrant labour organizations that take advantage of young people who are desperate for employment.This was revealed during an event organised by International Organisation for Migration to commemorate the International Migrants Day.
